On a high profile building project in Paris, France, a team of designers from various backgrounds, companies and countries are building their own design workflows using a combination of computational tools, building information modeling and cloud-based interoperability platforms. The workflow allows Snøhetta and partners to coordinate and communicate one of the most stunning building designs in recent years, while managing and maintaining design changes in a live database. Using tools like Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo and Flux, the team members can apply their skills in familiar environments, while communicating effectively with each other. In an exercise that seems impossible, an unlikely team are scripting and automating the creation of one of the most complex building information models ever made. Learn how!
